My painting presents a colourful world emerging from the blueprints of reality.
Blueprints begin with an idea which gradually manifests into form by a composition of lines and shapes. My artwork depicts different layers of potential futures for the Badgerys Creek site; presenting you, the viewer, the freedom of choice to reflect on the impact the new Western Sydney (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport and the Areotropolis will have on your life.
As the designers of our own reality, we create by evaluating different ideas to determine the best possible solution. Through this process many ideas are rejected, and the outcome of the ideas pursued are unknown until we experience it in our physical reality.
