Diversity @ The Space Gallery

A group show at The Space Gallery in Rosebery, Sydney; celebrating the diverse style of 5 female artists.

The artworks showcased aimed at questioning the essence of reality and how our perceptions create and determine what we see.

Featuring the space/time grid which are the foundations of the reality we create and give the artworks a sense of depth.

The collections was also an exploration of using different mediums such as a combination of acrylic paint as well as graphite pencil, exploring the finer details and communicating a more refined version of reality.

Squares are often used to represent the surface of the earth and within grid of space we begin to see the expanse of nested squares.

Sydney Gridspace is the visual expression of our reality emerging from a sea of nothingness.

In the absolute void we create and experience a reality of out own making.

Light is an essential dynamic in the perception of our reality, we see forms structured by geometry and coloured by light.

We only see 1% of the visible light spectrum, making the majority of our reality unseen.

Sydneyscape is a creative expression of the Sydney skyline making the unseen visible; exploring the imagination creating the 99% of the light spectrum that is not visible to the human eye.
